Logging a coolant check (operators)

• Tap Scan in the bottom bar and point your camera at the QR label on the machine or sump — or type the code (e.g. SMP-1001).
• Enter the refractometer °Brix with the large +/− buttons. Concentration is calculated instantly using the fluid's refractometer correction factor.
• Add pH, temperature, sump level, tramp oil, appearance, odor and any water or concentrate you added. Tap Save reading.
• The result shows In Range, Attention or Corrective Action Required with the recommended actions. HydroKool is advisory only — it never controls machines or dosing equipment.

No signal on the shop floor?

Keep working. Readings are saved on the device and a banner shows how many are queued. They sync automatically when the connection returns (or tap Sync). Each reading keeps its original capture time.

Inspection routes

Open Routes, choose your round and tap Next stop. Stops tick off automatically once a reading is logged within the route's shift/day/week window.

Status rules

• Attention: slightly outside target concentration (within 20% of the limit), pH slightly low/high, temperature over max, low/high level, moderate tramp oil, cloudy/foamy fluid or slight odor.
• Corrective Action Required: far outside concentration target, pH more than 0.5 below min, temperature 5 °C over max, heavy tramp oil, separated emulsion or rancid odor. A corrective action is opened automatically.

Roles

• Platform admin — manages suppliers, customers and all data.
• Supplier / distributor — manages its customer companies, plants, fluid catalog and users.
• Customer manager — manages own plants, machines, sumps, routes, users, disposals.
• Operator — logs readings, follows routes, acknowledges alerts and closes actions.

Integrations & API

All data is available through a versioned REST API under /api (OpenAPI docs at /docs on the API host), ready for ERP, LIMS or analytics integrations.
